    EXPOSED: Iloilo City's notorious politicians?

Para sa Bayan, a nationalistic Facebook page that touches on significant socio-political issues in the country, recently published a post that is speculates on prominent political figures in Iloilo City namely; Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog and Congressman Jerry Treñas.

According to Para sa Bayan, Treñas and his mayoralty successor Mabilog were connected and linked to notorious drug personalities in Iloilo.

Claiming that the two politicians were friends with the alleged Drug Lords  Jesus Espinosa and Melvin Odicta.

“Cong.

Further exposing the relationship between thedrug personalities and politicians, Para sa Bayan wrote:

Justifying its assumptions, Para sa Bayan pointed out the unexplainable wealth of the Espinosa’s. According to the post, there are still a lot of unexposed drug personalities in Iloilo.

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV5 last August 29, Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog denied the allegations fired against him regarding his suspected involvement as protector of drug dealings  in his jurisdiction

“Hindi ako naging Protector” Mabilog asserted.
