LOOK: International Lawyer commends Duterte's initiative to remove his portraits in gov't offices

Atty. Paula Defensor Knack, an International Law expert and the sister of the late senator Miriam Defensor Santiago on Wednesday shared her sentiments and insight regarding the previous initiative of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to remove pictures of various government officials and have them replaced by pictures of noble Filipino heroes-and endeavor which Knack is very supportive and appreciative of.

“I very much appreciate Pres. Duterte's move to remove pics of government officials and replace it with those of national heroes to remind us of their love of country and heroism,” Knack claimed in her Facebook post.

The  lawyer also acknowledged how unique the said initiative done by President Duterte was claiming that it is a pure manifestation of the president’s “noble and patriotic” intentions. As how she had put it on the photo:

“This is a rare move and the intention is noble and patriotic,” Atty. Knack affirmed.

To end her short yet significant post, Knack mentioned the idea that while there are a lot of government officials, none would be willing to sacrifice their lives for the freedom and liberty of their country especially from foreign invasion or influence.

“Think of it. How many of govt. officials get kickbacks and want to die for their country so their country will be free of foreign powers? Wala. Basta may kickback at litrato ng opisyal sa likod nila, kampante sila,” Atty. Knack ended conclusively.
