LOOK: Prominent Lawyer talks about Leni Robredo’s fashion style

In her Facebook page called Luminous, Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles had criticized Vice President Leni Robredo for her “unpleasant” fashion style.

“I normally don't like treating politicians like fashion victims, but it's Sunday evening, and I have nothing better to do,” Atty. Cruz-Angeles wrote initially.

Claiming that Robredo should “ditch the girdle”, Atty. Cruz-Angeles mentioned that she is not being mean to the Vice President.

The fact that Robredo is a public figure it is only expected of her to be the subject of public criticisms.

“Leni Robredo really should ditch the girdle. It makes her butt look square, and just pushes the fat around to other places making her look like a reformatted Stay-Pufft Marshmallow Man... er Woman. I also would like to point out that she is looking very prosperous lately,” Atty. Cruz-Angeles pointed out.

Mentioning that Robredo had been previously criticized for her so-called “penchant” for expensive fashion brands, Atty. Cruz-Angeles describes her remarks as a something that could help Robredo realize how the public sees her physique. As how Cruz-Angeles had put it on her post:

“We've already called her out on her penchant for designer labels, truly expensive clothes and shoes, and we've openly wondered about how she can afford them (I heard Jesse left her loads of money, tsinelas politics notwithstanding, at least according to WAC [referring to an investigative blog “We Are Collective”]) I guess this is a good a time as any to call her out on what she hangs them on.”

The lawyer also emphasized that she is not going to “accept” criticisms from anyone especially if are “illogical”.

“And no, I cannot accept the answer that I have to be beautiful and skinny in order to call her out on her choice of clothes, those "Parang ang ganda mo naman para magsabi nun" or "Nagsalita ang payat" or "Sino ka para magsabi nyan?" are truly illogical retorts. The fact remains that the Vice President wears a girdle and it does not become her,” Atty. Cruz-Angeles concluded.

Following her conclusion was a simple note explaining the root of all the criticisms the lawyer had thrown against the VP.

“Besides, her fan's club did criticize the President's leather jacket,” Atty. Cruz-Angeles ended.
