"Alam niya. Alam niya iyan. Hindi naman siya maba-blind. Wala naman tayong special attention dito. Wala [namang special instructions from]. Maniguro lang tayo na peaceful iyong paglibing. Walang gulo na mangyari", per PNP Chief in an interview.
The decision to bury Marcos came only came late Thursday. As the President has said he would allow the burial as promised during the campaign.
Assistant Secretary Marie Banaag said in a press briefing in Malacañang said, "The President was so clear about that since noong campaign period pa and those who were opposing it were given the chance. They went to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has decided so it's up for the family of the late president as to when to bring the remains of the late pres at the Libingan ng mga Bayani."
On Thursday, President Duterte left for Peru to attend at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit with Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar and Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella.
