Edwin Lacierda to Duterte on Marcos Burial: 'Not legalistic; He just believe in sex videos'

Former Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda shared his sentiments on the surprise Marcos burial on November 18.

On his Facebook Page, he posted "In life and in death, forever a thief."

While protest and other motion to dig out the former President Ferdinand at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, he conveyed his notion thru an epigram "Isang Pala ka Lang."

He also profess that President Rodrigo Duterte was not just being legalistic with the Marcos burial, he was also being cinematic with the truth about Marcos, i. e., no movie, no evil. He added, "I suppose documentaries about Marcos and his foul deeds do not count. He just believes in sex videos."

Edwin Lacierda is a Filipino lawyer. He was a member of the Philippine Cabinet and Presidential Spokesperson of President Benigno S. Aquino III. Prior to this, he was the spokesperson for the presidential campaign of then Senator Aquino from November 2009 up to the elections in May 2010.

More so, he has been very vocal on sharing his two cents on Philippines' current issues.

He strongly oppose on the Supreme Court decision to bury former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

He affixed on his Facebook account:

"When President Aquino decided not to bury Marcos in the Libingan, that was the end of the discussion.

After all, who would have thought to honor Marcos in the same manner as who would have thought in Germany to honor Hitler who won medals for bravery during the First World War and later committed genocide against the Jews during the Second World War. Only Neo Nazis continue to honor his memory.

One assumed that as a civilized nation, no law was needed to disavow and condemn what has long been regarded as reprehensible.

But lo and behold, 2016 was the year the Festival of Fools was in full display and the world was turned topsy turvy."
